Tips for Controlling Your Cannabis Consumption

When using cannabis and experimenting with THC, you will always have to be concerned with a few things.

When using cannabis, first, your physical health and routines will change. Second, changes in moderation will damper your job search efforts. Third, your tolerance will adjust accordingly to how ever much you do (or don’t) ingest. Fourth, your chances of seeking frequent jc recovery family treatment increase drastically.

When considering increasing your cannabis ingestion or changing your moderation levels, you should always monitor your physical health. Mainly, if you’re feeling physically “off” after you inhale cannabis, experiencing any abnormal affects (that aren’t normally affected during your smoke sesh) you should seek medical attention. If you have asthma, obviously DO NOT smoke cannabis; some quality edibles might be a better alternative! Some habitual cannabis smokers experience the development of a “smoker’s cough”. We’d rather not gross you out with a description, so you’ll have to look it up if you want further explanation.

Another thing to consider when moderating your marijuana usage is your employer’s policies on a drug-free workplace.

We shouldn’t have to tell you this, but feel obligated to anyways: if you get drug tested regularly or have one coming up for any reason, don’t ingest cannabis! Depending upon how much and how frequently you ingest cannabis, it could take a solid 4-6 weeks for your system to be completely cleaned out. So if you’re trying to get lit, do so when your employer isn’t trying to stomp out your campfire!

However, if you do need to abstain from cannabis, have no fear.

You’ll notice a decrease in your tolerance! The next time you ingest, there will be a significant increase in how “high” you feel, whether you use edibles, concentrates, anything. Your tolerance will shift accordingly if you go from using concentrate to flower or vice versa. For example, if you normally use cannabis flower and elevate to using concentrates, you’ll be significantly higher until your body becomes accustomed to it. But if you go from concentrates down to flower, your high won’t last as long because it isn’t as potent. It’s like the old alcohol saying, “Beer to liquor, only sicker; liquor to beer, never fear” but without the horrible hangover the next day.

This is a useful method to wean yourself down or off of cannabis if you’re going on a tolerance break. Tolerance breaks are usually done in an effort to lower one’s tolerance to cannabis. The goal is to experience more of the high sensation.

At the end of the day, there’s many methods and reasons for moderation. Whether it be a job, physical concerns, or just wanting to decrease your tolerance, there are many reasons for moderating cannabis use. How do you moderate yourself? Let us know in the comments!
